The reason being that the heroine was considered to be depicted in a "sexist" way, according to "some" tweeters with apparently enough power to block stories, distribute an asinine narrative degradating real serious terms (like misogyny, racist, etc) as a carte blanche of sorts to block any critisism, even if that means calling an entire sub-culture of individuals of different genders/ethnicities/opinions/backgrounds "basement-dwelling white male rapist nerds (insert and republish on all "gaming sites" long hateful tirade here)".
